One man is now dead after he was shot dead while at a bar in his community of Strathbogie in Westmoreland Monday morning, July 11.
He is 47-year-old labourer, Patrick Jackson.
The Savanna-la-Mar Police report that Mr. Jackson was sitting among a group of patrons at a bar about 12:20 a.m. when he was shot by an armed man through one of the windows to the establishment.
No one else was injured in the incident.
The man escaped in the area.
The police were summoned, the crime scene processed and the body removed.
