Six Jamaicans have been selected for this season's Caribbean Premier League (CPL) after the squads were released on Wednesday.
Of the six Jamaicans, there is one change in personnel, as left-handed batsman Javelle Glenn replaces Khari Campbell at defending champions St Lucia Zouks.
Glenn makes a return to the St Lucian franchise, having last represented the team during the 2021 season when they lost to the Trinbago Knight Riders in the final.
The other Jamaicans to feature are former West Indies T20 captain Rovman Powell who will once again lead the Barbados Royals.
He's joined by former Jamaica Tallawahs captain Brandon King who was drafted from the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons.
All-rounder Odean Smith who represented the St Kitts and Nevis Patriots in 2024, has been drafted by the Falcons, while Andre Russell has been retained by the Trinbago knight riders.
Fabian Allen who was injured in his second game for the Adelaide Strikers in the Big Bash League in December, will return to the Falcons.
The 2025 Republic Bank CPL begins on August 14, with the opening match featuring the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons taking on the St Kitts & Nevis Patriots at Warner Park in St Kitts.
Matches will also be hosted across Antigua & Barbuda, St Lucia, Barbados and Trinidad & Tobago, before the tournament culminates in the final in Guyana on September 21.
