Dr. Joyce Graham Royal is G.C. Foster's 5th principal

Education Minister Ronald Thwaites has confirmed that Dr. Joyce Graham Royal is the new principal of G.C Foster College. 

This comes a week after RJR Sports Online first reported that the five member selection committee appointed by the Rosa Joseph chaired board of directors, had recommended Dr. Graham Royal to fill the post being vacated by Edward Shakes this Friday. 

Shakes served as principal of the 34-year-old sports college for five years.  

Dr. Graham Royal, who is leaving her post as the chief physical education officer in the Ministry of Education, topped the list of 15 applicants.          

The other persons to serve as principal in the history of the college  are Noel Monteith, Dr Gloria Burke, Yvonne Kong and the late James "Jimmy" Carnegie.
