Windies bowlers bring them back into contention in second test

The West Indies bowlers have brought them back into the game after another woeful batting display on day one of their second test against Pakistan in Multan.

The Windies who elected to bat, found themselves on the ropes at 54-8 with only Kavem Hodge who made 21, offering any resistance up to that stage. 

However, Gudakesh Motie recorded his maiden test half century of 55, while Kemar Roach 25 and Jomel Warrican with an unbeaten 36, added 68 for the last wicket. Spinner Noman Ali bagged 6-41.

Pakistan in reply, were bowled out for 154. Mohammad Rizwan top scored with 49, while Saud Shakeel made 32 against Warrican 4-43, Motie 2-49 and Roach 2-15.

The Windies will begin their second innings at the start of the 2nd day's play.
