Graham launches broadside against the USADA

Disgraced Jamaican-born American sprint coach Trevor Graham, who coached drug cheats Justin Gatlin and Marion Jones, among others, has launched a broadside against the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA), which slapped him with a life-time ban in 2008.

Graham, who saw his US$30 million defamation suit against the USADA thrown out by a federal judge on March 31, is claiming that the agency did not give him a fair trial before slapping him with a life time ban.

"The USADA stripped me of my rights, they never gave me a hearing, they violated my constitutional rights to due process and I’ve never been up in their courts to defend myself, so they wrongfully accused me and wrongfully banned me for life. I’m not acknowledging any of it because without due process, you have nothing in this country," Graham said in an exclusive telephone interview with Television Jamaica Sports (TVJ) from North Carolina on Monday.

USADA covering for other coaches involved in doping – Graham

Graham, who exposed Victor Conte's Bay Area Laboratory Co-Operative (BALCO)  drug operation in 2003, by sending the syringe with the designer drug, THG,  is now alleging that the USADA is covering for other American based coaches involved in doping.

"Here is a US coach and the USADA has this information but it has not exposed this person at all and there’s more than one coach that’s involved in doping here and (the USADA) has not exposed these individuals," he said.

USADA dismisses Garham’s claim

However, in an emailed response to queries by TVJ Sports on Wednesday, Travis Tygart, the CEO of USADA, dismissed Graham's claims that his organization is covering for coaches involved with prohibited drugs.

"We follow up on all information we receive regarding any potential doping activity of athletes, coaches and athlete support personnel" Tygart stated.

"If Mr. Graham has information about others involved in doping, then he needs to provide that information to us so that we can investigate," Tygart added.

However, Graham is sticking to his claim.

In the meantime, Graham added that he will soon be filing a law suit against his former attorney, Joseph Zeszortarski, who he claims signed away his rights to USADA without permission.
