Two Dinthill Technical High School players have each been for a year and another player suspended for three matches, while the school has been placed on probation for 3 years by the Inter-Secondary Schools Sports Association (ISSA) for 3 years, following the assault of a match official at the end of their DaCosta Cup match against McGrath last Saturday.

The ruling was handed down on Thursday, following a disciplinary hearing at ISSA's headquarters, following Dinthill Technical's match away to McGrath High where the players assaulted referee Christopher Bailey after the final whistle.

The meeting was also attended by the principal and manager of Dinthill Technical, as well as two match officials and the three players who were punished.
