JAAA in race to get quarter-miler Prince to Oregon

The Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association (JAAA) is frantically trying to secure a flight for 19-year-old quarter-miler Gregory Prince to leave Kingston on Wednesday to join up with the World Championships team in Eugene, Oregon after securing his visa on Tuesday.

JAAA president Garth Gayle confirmed with Radio Jamaica Sports that Prince was granted the visa on Tuesday and is expected to collect his passport on Wednesday afternoon.

Gayle says his executive is now working to book the quarter-miler on a flight to get to the World Championships.
