The latest Don Anderson RJR-Gleaner National Poll, is showing Jamaicans are almost evenly split in their views of the two major political parties and their leadership.
The latest survey, conducted from August 2-11, found that 40.6 per cent of respondents hold a favourable view of the Jamaica Labour Party, while 40.5 percent expressed an unfavourable opinion.
At the same time, 35.4 per cent view the People's National Party favourably, with 30.9 per cent holding an unfavourable view.
When it comes to the leaders, Prime Minister Andrew Holness has a 41 per cent favourability rating, slightly ahead of Opposition Leader Mark Golding, who stands at 38.5 per cent.
On the other hand, Holness is viewed unfavourably by 37 per cent as against Golding whose unfavourability rating stands at 27 per cent.
