Jamaica went down 99-96 to the Bahamas in their crucial FIBA Americas World Cup qualifier at the National Indoor Sports Centre on Thursday.
Jamaica led 28-26 at the end of the first quarter, 55-53 at half time and 81-77 at the end of the third quarter. The Jamaicans will meet Canada on Sunday also at the National Indoor Sports Centre starting at 6:00 pm. The top three teams will advance from the group, with points carrying over to the next phase.
