Following his exploits in last year's Mouttet Mile, Horse of the Year Rideallday showed he has no equal in local racing, smashing an almost 30 year track record on his seasonal debut.
He landed the Ian Levy Cup for a purse of $4 million at Caymanas Park on Monday. The 4 year old roan colt broke the 29 year old track record for 8 and half furlongs after clocking 1minute, 41.04 seconds to win the Ian Levy Cup. The victory earned Rideallday automatic qualification for this year's renewal of the ultra-rich event.
