Jamaica secured gold in the mixed 4x100 metre relay final at the CAC Games in Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic on Tuesday.
The Jamaican quartet of Travis Williams, Niesha Burgher, Adrian Kerr and Jura Levy clocked 41.06 seconds to originally finish behind the Dominican Republic who posted 40.84 seconds. The host nation was later disqualified.
In gymnastics, Jhazara Ranger took third in the all-round competition after amassing a score of 49.90. Jamaica now has 5 medals at the games with the other medals coming from Bouwahjgie Nkrumie, Tahlia Richardson in women's badminton singles and women's rugby 7s.
