The Jamaica Football Association has been granted some a
slight reprieve after the English football association allowed them to defer
payment of a £135,000 debt until after the 2010 world cup.
It was feared that any row between the FA and the JFF could impact on England's 2018 world cup bid as JFF President Captain Horace Burrell is an ally of Jack Warner, Vice-President of football's world governing body.
Meanwhile the FA also heard proposals from the JFF for a youth development facility on the island and the idea of a friendly between Jamaica and England after the 2010 world cup.
