The winner of this year's Jamaica Football Federation/FLOW Knockout Competition will receive $1million, a 20% increase from last year's top prize won by champions Boys Town.
This forms part of FLOW's third and final year of the three year $28 million sponsorship which ends this up coming season.
There are two associate sponsors in Voltaren and Red Stripe, which will be offering $300,000 for the standout player award.
The competition begins on Ash Wednesday with the six bottom placed Premier League teams as of December 31, 2010, playing alongside the 14 parish champions.
Among the opening games, Arnett Gardens will host Seba, Benfica will tackle Police National, Reno will play away to Santos, Humble Lion will also play away to Holland of Trelawny, Village will travel to Monymusk of Clarendon and St. George's Sports Club will play away to fellow Portland parishioners, Eagle Strikers.
The youthful Fraziers Whip team of St. Catherine will host Star Cosmos of St. Mary.
Boys Town are the defending champions and they, along with the top five other Premier League teams, received automatic byes into the March 23 and 24 second round.
