Led by another player of the match performance from captain Hayley Matthews the West Indies women registered an 8 wicket win over Pakistan women in the 5th and final T20 international in Karachi on Friday to secure a 4-1 series.
Chasing 135 to win, the Windies replied with 136-2 off 18.6 overs. They were led to victory by captain Matthews and Shemaine Campbell who shared in a 103 run second wicket partnership
Matthews cracked 78 off 59 balls including 11 fours, while Campbelle was left not out on 33 which included 2 fours.
Zaida James was the other not out batter on 7.
Earlier, Pakistan Women who were sent to bat, were restricted to 134-8 off their 20 overs. Sidra Ameen top scored with 48, while Ayesha Zafar made 22 and Muneeba Ali 25 for the Pakistanis.
Afy Fletcher took 3-17 and Qiana Joseph 2-26 for the Windies Women. There was also a wicket each for Aaliyah Alleyne and Matthews.
Matthews was also named Player of the Series for her 205 runs and 7 wickets.
