Mona outscore Camperdown in controversial Manning Cup clash

A last minute strike from Donhue Mitchell saw Mona High outscore Camperdown 4-3 in a controversial match in their ISSA Manning Cup Group “E” match on Thursday at Excelsior.

Controversy reigned in the 75th minute of the match when Mona was allowed an equalizer which eventually led to the Camperdown's coaching staff being sent off.

In other action from Group “E”, Dante Dacres scored a hattrick, while Daquan Duhaney netted a brace as Wolmer's dismissed Papine High 6-1. Mona remain unbeaten and still has a 6 point lead over second placed Wolmer’s. Also from Group “E” Hydel clipped Kingston High 2-1.

In Group “B” St Jago snapped their three game losing streak  with a comprehensive 5-2 win over Holy Trinity, while many time champions Jamaica College blanked Cedar Grove 4-0.

Group “F” table toppers Excelsior and Campion College played out the last 15 minutes of their match which was interrupted by rain earlier this week. The match ended 0-0.

Jose Marti also completed the second 45 minutes against Clan Carthy as blanking them 2-0.

The lone contest from Group “D” Johnathan Grant move within one point of leaders St Andrew Technical as they just got by Spanish Town High 1-0.
