Money Market captures Reggae Month Trophy race

The 2-1 second choice Money Market, ridden by former champion jockey Dane Dawkins for trainer Gary Subratie, captured the 4th running of the Reggae Month Trophy, the feature event on Saturday's 10-race programme at Caymanas Park.

The 6 year old bay horse produced a late burst to overhaul the leading pack in the 3 year old and up Open Allowance contest over the 5 straight course.

Money Market covered the trip in 57.2 seconds to win by a length and a half. Jockey Robert Halledeen and 3-time former champion trainer Anthony "Baba" Nunes each had a double on the programme. 10-races are slated for this coming Ash Wednesday programme.
