Mount Pleasant FA dismiss reports that "Tappa" Whitmore has left the club

Voice of Mount Pleasant FA Sporting Director Paul Christie

Sporting Director at Mount Pleasant FA Paul Christie has dismissed reports that there's unrest in the camp of the Caribbean champions.

Radio Jamaica Sports understands that coach Theodore "Tappa" Whitmore has not been with the club since last week Thursday when they played Arnett Gardens at Drax Hall.

He was also absent from Sunday's fixture away to Chapelton Maroons. However, Christie says Whitmore went missing due to personal reasons and will continue to have the support of the club.

Whitmore is set to be on bench for Wednesday's rescheduled Wray and Nephew Jamaica Premier League (JPL) match against Cavalier at the Stadium East Field starting at 4:00 pm.
