Olympic and Paralympic star Oscar Pistorius was indicted of murder charge for killing his girlfriend.
On Monday, he was made aware that he is to face potentially damning testimonies in this case as part of the murdrer charge of killing Reeva Steenkamp. Testomies are expected to include former lover and a South African soccer star.
The was handed papers by a magistrate setting out that he stands accused of committing pre-meditated murder on Valentine's Day by firing four shots at Steenkamp with a 9mm pistol through a locked toilet door at his luxury home in Pretoria, a suburb of Johannesburg.
The hearing lasted just 17 minutes before Pistorius was told of his trial date from March 3 to 20 at North Gauteng High Court. There Samantha Taylor, Pistorius' ex, and Mark Batchelor, soccer pro are set to appear as apart of the formal list of 107 witnesses. If Pistorius is found guilty, the Blade Runner faces at least 25 years in prison.
