Runaway Algo romps Seeking My Dream Trophy

Commentary by Track Announcer Brian Rickman

The 3-5 favourite Runaway Algo with Linton Steadman aboard for trainer Dale Murphy, lived up to his name by recording an ultra-impressive victory in Saturday's feature event at Caymanas Park.

The 4 year old chestnut colt won the second running of the Seeking My Dream Trophy for Open Allowance runners over 7 and a half furlongs by an impressive 13 and a half lengths in a minute, thirty and four fifths of a second.

Meanwhile, two more members from the new batch of trainers who graduated last week, celebrated their first career win on Saturday's programme.

Michael Spencer saddled the 3-5 favourite Sniper Man under Paul "Country" Francis to victory in race number 3, while the 7-2 chance Essential Quality with 3-time former champion jockey Anthony Thomas, gave conditioner Oral Hayden success in the 6th event.

Racing continues on Monday with a 9-race card starting at 12:15 pm.
