Six uncapped players named in latest Reggae Girlz squad

Six uncapped players have been added to Jamaica's national senior women's football training squad ahead of a two game friendly series against Chile. The Reggae Girlz will first face the South Americans on Thursday inside the National Stadium in Kingston before playing them again on Sunday at the Montego Bay Sports Complex. The names of the players were revealed on the Jamaica Football Federation's official twitter page.

The uncapped players include Cachet Lue of Texas Christian University and Laura Jackson who also based in the US. The other four who were present during the January Reggae Girlz camp are Channel Hudson- Marks (University of Memphis), Havana Solaun of Klepp in Norway; Tiffany Cameron based in Canada and Kayla McCoy of the Houston Dash.

They will team up with captain Konya Plummer; Khadija "Bunny" Shaw; Sashana "Pete" Campbell; Jody Brown; Chenya Matthews; Allison Swaby; goalkeepers Sydney Schiedner; Nicole McClure and Chris-Ann Chambers of the UWI, the only locally-based player. The squad is completed by Lauren Silver; Marlo Sweatman; Chinyelu Asher; Deneisha Blackwood; Christina Chang; Chantelle Swaby; Giselle Washington and Olufolasade Adamolekun, who first represented Jamaica at the youth level. The Reggae Girlz are preparing for a historic berth at this summer's FIFA Women’s World Cup in France where they will face Brazil, Italy and Australia in the group stage.
