Summerbell looking to maintain his number one ranking

The countdown continues for the Easter Motor-racing Carnival on April 25 at Dover Raceway and reigning Jamaica Race Driver’s Club (JRDC) driver of the year and Caribbean circuit race champion David Summerbell Jr. is making every effort to maintain his number one ranking.

Summerbell Jr. is well aware that two of his rivals, Douglas Gore has acquired what is perceived to be a superior car and Manchester-based Christopher Campbell will be sporting a new BMW for the 2011 season.

Therefore the seven time Caribbean champion is leaving nothing to chance and has brought in an engineer from AMS Mechanical Systems, Inc in Chicago as he believes it is necessary to change the entire setting of his car to break his own track record.

About six new cars will be on show and this should bring a lot of thrills for the spectators.
