The West Indies and Bangladesh have been invited by Cricket Ireland to participate in a tri nation series in May 2019.
The Windies will play a minimum of four One Day Internationals which will serve as preparation for the 2019 Cricket World Cup in England. The tri-nation series is set to run from May 5-17 while the World Cup in England and Wales bowls off on may 30.
The West Indies were last in Ireland in September 2017 but their scheduled one-day match at Stormont was abandoned due to rain. Ireland is using this series as preparation for tours with Zimbabwe and Afghanistan in the summer.
