Chadwick Boseman designated 'Hero of the Ages' at MTV Awards

Late actor Chadwick Boseman was honoured again for his remarkable legacy in Hollywood.

The award-winning actor, who died at age 43 in August after a four-year battle with colon cancer, was posthumously designated "Hero of the Ages" at the 2020 MTV and TV Awards on Sunday night.

The Award is in recognition of stars who prove they are heroes both on and off the screen.

Boseman, who played a list of inspiring roles including Jackie Robinson in 42, Thurgood Marshall in Marshall, James Brown in Get on Up, and King T'Challa in the Marvel film Black Panther, was recognised not only for his historical roles but his focus on giving back to communities and visiting children coping with illnesses.
