Fraser-Pryce to open her season at JAAA's French Foray Meet

Multiple world and olympic gold medallist Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce is set to open her season at JAAA's French Foray Meet at the National Stadium.

The 100 metre event will serve as the sprint superstar's warm-up for the fast-approaching national championships scheduled for June 27-30, where she will need to finish in the top three to book her ticket to the Olympics.

Joining Fraser-Pryce in the same event tomorrow will be ShashaLee Forbes, Ashanti Moore, Jodean Williams and juniors Sabrina Dockery and Shanoya Douglas.

Earlier this year, the 37- year-old Fraser-Pryce announced she would hang up her spikes after making what could be her fifth and final appearance at the Paris Olympics next month.

The men's 100 metres will be headlined by world indoor 60 metre bronze medallist Ackeem Blake, Sandrey Davison, Kadrian Goldson, Jehlani Gordon, Bouwahjgie Nkrumie, Shakur Williams and Deandre Daley.

The meet gets underway at 6:20 pm at the National Stadium.
