Nicki Minaj, Maluma & Myriam Fares to team up new World Cup Anthem

The Federation of International Football Association has recruited rap singer Nicki Minaj, Maluma, and Myriam Fares for the 2022 FIFA World Cup Qatar anthem.

Titled "Tukoh Taka," the track makes history as the first FIFA World Cup song featuring English, Spanish, and Arabic lyrics. 

The official fan festival single will be released tomorrow via Universal Arabic Music and Republic, along with an accompanying cinematic music video.

Trinidadian-born aritiste Nicki Minaj is one of the biggest names in hip-hop music, while Colombia native Maluma is a Latin Grammy Award winner who copped the title for Best Contemporary Pop Vocal Album for F.A.M.E. in 2018. 

Fares is a Lebanese singer who debuted on the Arabic music scene in 2003 with her debut album Myriam.

This year, FIFA has released a handful of official songs for the 2022 World Cup. 

The World Cup kicks off on November 20 with host nation Qatar's tournament opener against Ecuador. 

A total of 32 teams representing different countries will participate, with one being crowned the World Cup champion on December 18.
