Amber Aviation is set to launch a fleet of six aircraft by January.
The units will be used for air tours, especially for tourists.
The company is still awaiting the final issue of its permit from the local aviation authority.
The five ultra-light and one light sport aircraft have already been secured in South Africa.
Four Jamaicans are being trained to operate the aircraft.
Amber Group CEO, Dushyant Savadia, says the launch of the aviation arm of his eight-year-old company was part of a childhood dream and a natural progression, given the need to diversify business lines at Amber.
