The United Nations Food and Agricultural Organisation will be coordinating a specialised training session on plant breeding in order to increase the production of hot peppers.
This training session is being conducted as a part of the "Improving Phytosanitary; Food Safety Market Access Opportunities along the Hot Pepper Value Chain Project".
The session will bring together 35 participants, including representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture Fisheries and Mining, private seed producers and farmers from St. Elizabeth, Clarendon, St. Catherine, St. Ann and St. Mary.
