Full rebound of air travel expected in the Bahamas for holiday season

Travel through Lynden Pindling International Airport in The Bahamas is expected to be nothing like 2020, with the airport expecting the rebound of its normal, large Thanksgiving and Christmas traveller traffic.

Nassau Airport Development Company (NAD) President and Chief Executive Officer Vernice Walkine on Wednesday said the airport's momentum began with the cruise lines' home porting initiative.

Thousands of passengers came into Nassau to board their cruises before US ports reopened.

Ms Walkine said that momentum has only continued into this upcoming holiday travel season.
