GraceKennedy reports increase in revenue for January to June

GraceKennedy recorded a 12 per cent increase in revenues for the January to June period. 
 
Revenues amounted to $63.4 billion.
 
This was $6.8 billion higher than last year. 
 
GraceKennedy achieved net profit of $4 billion, a 30 per cent increase over the same period in 2020. 
 
In a release from the company, Group CEO Don Wehby said all business segments showed improved profits and revenue performance year over year. 
 
Mr. Wehby also indicated that the company hopes to close the acquisition of Scotia Insurance Eastern Caribbean by the end of this month, as regulatory approval has been granted.
