Digicel's recent bond offer document, shows Jamaica remains the company's most profitable market, even though it lags behind Haiti, in subscriber numbers.
The document shows Jamaica generating an operating profit of 140 million U.S. dollars in the year which ended March, for Digicel from revenues of 474 million while in Haiti, operating profit was 86 million U.S off turnover of 439 million U.S.
Since 2001, Digicel has grown into a business that generated revenues of 2.5 billion U.S. dollars in the year to the end of March 2012, and made a net profit of 47.2 million.
