Listed used car dealer Jetcon Corporation says it is now officially venturing into the distribution of new vehicles.
In a release to the Jamaica Stock Exchange, the company said it has been appointed the sole distributor for Beijing Automotive Industry Company (BAIC) vehicles locally.
This covers marketing, servicing and parts supply for these cars.
Jetcon Corporation was established in Jamaica in 1991, and listed on the JSE in 2016.
BAIC is one of the largest Auto manufacturers in China.
It owns brands such as Foton and Beijing.
Jetcon began importing BAIC vehicles in 2023.
