Telecommunications company, LIME says, it has started work to correct the problem of dropped calls on its network.
This follows a release issued by the Office of Utilities Regulation (OUR) release on Tuesda which said it received 96 complaints over dropped calls between January and March.
However, LIME says it's upgrading its network at a cost of J$8.7 billion over the next three years, to address network issues.
LIME says it will prioritise the upgrade, starting first with cell sites in high traffic areas in the Corporate Area.
The telecoms firm says it is also working with its technology partner to expedite the necessary fix.
The company's contact centre is also being restructured, to reduce the wait time customers face when calling to make enquiries.
