The collective wealth of Elon Musk and the nine other richest men in the world grew from US$700 billion to US$1.5 trillion since the COVID-19 pandemic.
Charity organisation Oxfam has revealed that the pandemic has made the world's wealthiest far richer but has led to more people living in poverty.
Its report claims that lower incomes for the world's poorest contributed to the death of 21,000 people each day.
However, the world's 10 richest men have more than doubled their collective fortunes since March 2020.
The world's 10 richest men include Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg and Warren Buffet.
Their collective wealth grew from US$700 billion to US$1.5 trillion.
