Scotia Group Jamaica says it has made improvements to its Automated Banking Machine (ABM) network over the last few months.

Head of Retail Banking at Scotia Jamaica Perrin Gayle said at a press conference recently that more than 250 ABMs have been upgraded with new parts.

As for ABM fees, he said there's no plan for any increase.

In April, the Bank of Jamaica outlined minimum standards for Automated Banking Machines.

One of these requirements (which will take full effect in a matter of months) is for a minimum 90 per cent of ABMs to be operational at all times.
