SSL Venture Capital releases interim report

SSL Venture Capital Jamaica which has had its shares suspended from trading for breaches of  the Jamaica Stock Exchange's Junior Market Rule has released an interim report to stockholders.

It showed that SSL Ventures achieved $132 million in revenues for the quarter ended June and a net profit of  $10.6million compared to a net loss of  $1.4 million  during the same period last year.

The company says last year's financial results did not reflect the three investment holdings: Bar Central Limited, Blue Dot Data Intelligence and Muse 360 Integrated which were acquired in the second half  of  2018.

SSL Ventures says it will continue to streamline internal processes that can improve efficiencies and reduces administrative and general expenses.

Earlier this month the Jamaica Stock Exchange said the suspension of  trading in SSL Venture Capital shares would continue for breaches of  the Junior Market Rules regarding financial reporting.
