The JSE index advanced by 2,321 points, while the Junior market rose by 31 points.
Among the 46 winners were: GWEST Corporation - Ordinary Shares, The LAB, Jamaica Public Service Company - 7 per cent, AMG Packaging and Paper Company and Pan Jamaica Group.
The 36 losers included: Margaritaville (Turks) - USD, JMMB Group - 7.15 per cent Cumulative Redeemable Preference Shares, Caribbean Cream, Access Financial Services and Mayberry Jamaican Equities.
Twenty-two stocks traded firm.
