The JSE Index declined by 1,575 points to close at 330,384 points on Wednesday, while the Junior Market Index declined by 41 points to close at 3,651 points.
Thirty-nine stocks gained, including tTech, 138 Student Living Variable Preference share, Sygnus Credit Investment USD, AMG Packaging and Paper and Radio Jamaica, which owns this station.
Declining shares were led by Stanley Motta, Proven Group, Eppley 7.25 per cent preference share, Indies Pharma, and Regency Petroleum.
Twenty-two stocks traded firm.
