The decision by U.S. President Donald Trump to withdraw from the World Health organization (WHO) will have a massive negative impact on its finances and operations, with that country historically being the largest contributor to the WHO.
The US contributed US$1.204 billion or 18% of the Organization's US$6.70 billion budget in the year 2023-2024.
America also contributed US$1.284 billion to the organization's US$6.83 billion 2024-2025 budget.
