The wealth generated by the world's billionaires jumped by US$2 trillion, or approximately $5.70 billion per day last year, three times faster than during the year 2023, according to Oxfam.
The agency also says the number of billionaires increased by 204 to 2,769 last year when the wealth of the world's 10 richest men rose by $100 million per day.
This, while the number of people living on US$6.85 per day remained the same.
