Almost $500,000 stolen from Courts Ready Cash in Santa Cruz

Investigators say they are making progress with their probe into Thursday's robbery at the Courts Ready Cash office in Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth.
                 
Superintendent Dwight Daley, head of the St. Elizabeth Police Division, told Radio Jamaica News that the robbers stole almost $500,000. 
 
The two armed men entered the store Thursday morning about 9 o'clock and held up the security guard and staff.
 
The men fled on foot after the robbery.
 
"We are following some very strong leads and we are hoping to make a breakthrough very shortly," said Superintendent Daley. 
 
He urged members of the public who have information about the crime to call Crime Stop at 311, the 119 emergency number or the nearest police station.
