Cavalier are CONCACAF Caribbean Cup champions despite losing the return leg final 2-1 to Cibao of the Dominican Republic on Tuesday at the Cibao FC Stadium in Santiago.
The Jamaica Premier League champions conceded two goals in a minute as Juan Díaz scored in the 27th minute and Rivaldo Correa in the 28th before Dwayne Atkinson found the target for Cavalier in the 54th minute.
The tie ended 2-2 on aggregate, but with Cavalier having won the first leg 1-0 and with the away goal in effect, it meant Cavalier emerged victors.
