Jamaica's COVID-19 death toll has increased by thirteen, pushing the tally of people who have died from the virus to 2,072.
Kingston and St. Elizabeth each recorded four deaths, while two were recorded in St. Catherine.
St. James, St. Thomas and St. Mary each had one.
The Ministry of Health says the deaths occurred in the period from September 14 to October 13.
Four more deaths are being investigated.
At the same time, COVID-19 hospitalisations remain at 393.
Forty of those admitted are severely ill, while 24 are in critical condition.
The ministry says 264 COVID-19 cases were confirmed on Thursday from 1,282 samples.
The positivity rate is 20.1 per cent.
