Jamaica had another record one-day increase in COVID-19 infections on Friday - 527 new cases - causing the total to jump from 24,776 the previous day, to 25,303.
There were also three more deaths from the disease, bringing the death toll to 433.
One of the three newly deceased persons is a 76 year old man from St Catherine, while the others are a 91 year-old woman and 48 year old man from St. Ann
A fourth death is under investigation.
The Corporate Area (Kingston & St Andrew) led again with 149 new infections, followed bythe adjoining parish of St Catherine with 98 and St James, 76.
