Bounty Killa convicted on drug possession charges

Dancehall entertainer, Rodney Pryce, popularly known as "Bounty Killa" has been convicted on drug possession charges.

Bounty was fined J$5-thousand after he was convicted for smoking marijuana and possession of a marijuana spliff.

But the trial judge ruled that the conviction should not be recorded,

Bounty Killa, who fought the charges for three years, was charged in 2010 following an incident in New Kingston in which he was reportedly outside a night club in New Kingston, when a policeman spotted him with a spliff.

He was arrested and charged. However, the entertainer had strongly denied the allegations.
