A man drowned at the Salt River Beach in Clarendon on Sunday. He has been identified as Davis Robinson, 40, of Savanna, Hayes, in the parish.
About 11 o'clock, Robinson and two other men went fishing. He reportedly dived into the water to retrieve a tool that had fallen into the river.
He got into difficulties and drowned.
