COVID-19 curfew extended to March 23

Prime Minister has announced that the island-wide 8PM-to-5AM curfew which is currently in place will be extended March 23.

The curfew, ordered in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, was set to expire at the end of February, but the Prime Minister, speaking at a press briefing on Sunday afternoon, asserted that the measure would have to remain in place for longer because of the spike in cases of the disease across the country.

While the 8PM-to-5AM curfew will apply generally, the Prime Minister explained that there will also be adjusted closing hours for certain businesses.
