Elderly farmer murdered in Clarendon

The police are investigating the suspected murder of an elderly farmer at his house in Springfield, Clarendon.
 
The body of 79-year-old Lanford Henry reportedly had wounds, including to the head.
 
Mr. Henry's nephew, Matthew Chambers, says he was last seen alive on Tuesday. 
 
His body was found about 2:50 Wednesday afternoon.
 
Mr. Chambers says several of his uncle's goats were stolen and that may have been the reason for his killing.  
 
"You wah fi tell me seh you work all you life and when you fi retire and enjoy yourself that's the time people aguh come and tek weh you life like that and tek weh all that you have?" he bemoaned, adding that something had to be done about the crime situation.
