The Electoral Office of Jamaica is alerting the public to a recruitment scam using its name.
The EOJ says people have been receiving phone calls from individuals impersonating staff.
The callers falsely claim that recipients have been selected to work in elections or inquire about their interest in such roles.
A link is then sent for them to share their personal information.
But the state agency says it does not conduct recruitments in this manner.
Members of the public are being urged to not engage these callers, click on any links or share personal information.
