Fire destroyed sections of the Westwood High School in Stewart Town, Trelawny last night.
The fire started in the kitchen and spread to the dining room and a storeroom which were all destroyed by the blaze. The matron's quarters and a changing room were also destroyed.
The boarding facilities at the all-girls school were not threatened by the fire. The students were relocated to another section of the compound. There were no reports of injuries.
Three fire units from St. Ann and Trelawny battled the blaze which was contained early this morning.
