Fire did extensive damage to a plastic recycling plant at 2A Lyndhurst Road in St. Andrew on Tuesday morning.
The Jamaica Fire Brigade received the call at 11:24 a.m., and responded initially with one fire unit.
Eventually five units and 32 fire fighters were deployed to put out the blaze, which was brought under control by early afternoon.
The extent of the damage and the financial loss have not yet been determined.
